A famous Indian guru, Sathya Sai Baba, is a controversial figure. On the one hand, respect and worship of numerous people from all over the world, on the other hand, allegations of sexual abuse from ex-followers. On the one hand, he proclaims himself all-knowing, omnipotent God incarnated in a human body (who sent Jesus to this world), on the other hand, in his discourses he demonstrates lack of knowledge in natural sciences, history and religions. On the one hand, he claims he has come to save humanity from moral and spiritual decline, on the other hand, there are no real positive changes either in India, or in the whole world, which could be connected with his mission which had lasted for more than 60 years. Moreover, Sathya Sai Baba and his world-wide organisation may happen to find themselves under international investigation (see international petition).
